Code of Governance

The Japan Association of Private Universities (hereinafter referred to as the “JAPU”) has established the Japan Association of Private Universities Governance Code for Private Universities (Version 2.0) (hereinafter referred to as the “Code”). The Code is intended to further promote voluntary and autonomous efforts by member universities to strengthen their governance, taking into account the status of their efforts to comply with governance codes developed by private university organizations, including the JAPU, as well as the growing expectations of society regarding governance reform at school corporations. Through these efforts, the JAPU aims to further enhance and advance the sound management of private universities as a whole.

As a member university of the JAPU, this school corporation adheres to the Code and conducts a self-assessment of its implementation and compliance with the Code. The results of this assessment are publicly disclosed.
